With pleasure we present a photo report of the 6th National & International Conference "Interdisciplinary Aspects of Diseases of the Skin and Mucous Membranes".

We met on Friday, the 28th of February, 2020 at 16 in the Dermatological Clinic of Medical University of Warsaw.

At the beginning the presidents of the student association - Zuzanna Sitkowska and Weronika Pucek invited Professor Lidia Rudnicka to introduce the visiting professors.

One of our guests was Professor Catherine Stefanato - an expert in dermatopathology.

Professor Mohamad Goldust was our guest as well. Despite his young age, he has already received a title of professor. 

Miss Karolina Wojcik, co-worker of Professor Stefanato, has also visited us and given a lecture on Mohs micrographic surgery.

On Friday Professor Stefanato had a presentation on histopathology of alopecia.

Whereas, Professor Goldust shared with us his knowledge about current treatment of psoriasis in elderly, vitiligo and scabies.

On Saturday we started with welcoming our guests from the whole Poland.

As usual, Professor Rudnicka has opened the conference giving a speech.

After Professor's speech we listened to the lecture of Professor Goldust about the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis.

Subsequently we moved to the English Review Session.

The Jury had a lot of interesting questions to the speakers.

After the break we took part in an interactive lecture given by Professor Stefanato.

Later the English Case Report Session took place in the Auditorium of Professor Grzybowski.

After that session the English part of the conference has ended and we began the Polish Original Research Session.

The Jury seemed to by intrigued by the students' presentations.

At the same time the Polish Review Session was held in the Room 25.

After the break finished, we began the last session, during which the participants presented case reports in Polish language.

In the end it was time for the Award Ceremony. As every year the professors and the doctors from the clinic had magnificent special prizes for the winners.

The awards were handed by Professor Lidia Rudnicka.

When the Award Ceremony was over, we thanked our professors and doctor for their help and support during the organization of the event.

On Sunday after the visiting professors' lectures we invited the participants to the workshops. Doctor Magdalena Misiak-Gałązka talked about dermatopathology.

Thanks to Doctor Marta Sar-Pomian we could organize dermatosurgical workshops.

The classes were extremely practical.

Under the watchful eye of Doctor Olga Warszawik-Hendzel we learnt how to examine patients with classical dermoscope...

...and in videodermoscopy as well.

We would like to cordially thank you for coming and we hope we will meet again during the next year's edition of the conference, which will take place from the 26th to the 28th of February, 2021.
